Clear Swarovski Crystals & Pale Lilac Glass beads Necklace (NK028)

I think sometimes a girl needs some bling to spice up & any plain simple dressing will be transform when you put on a statement, one of a kind jewelry.  This is a necklace that I designed and newly hand crafted which I love.   Spent about 2 days to configured the technical and structure problems but I'm so glad it's done... And I'm gonna list this in my new blogshop:

Beads:  

Pale Lilac faceted glass beads(Puffed coin shaped) 12X7mm

Pale Lilac faceted Swarovski beads (Bicone shaped) 5mm 

Swarovski Crystal Rhinestone balls AB faceted (6mm)

Swarovski Crystals Pendants set in White (20X15mm & 10mm)

Cords:

Weaved with with Tigers tail,

Chains are in white metal.

Findings & Finishing:

I am using metal hard ware, finished with Nickel Toggle Clasp

Measurements:

Neck:16" or 41cm

Continuing the Mineral theme in Chanel Fall 2012 Runway Show... Their many clutches, shoulder bags, cute back packs  and of course shoes are also decorated beautiful crystals and semi precious stones, Let's take a look...

Shoes:

Glossy Mary Jane/ankle boot like stilettos also decorated with clear crystal clusters is the highlight of these lovely footwear... in purple, blue, black tones...

Now let's see the jewelry & fashion accessories

Mineral is the theme and I am so excited to see that there are lots of fashion accessories & jewelry in this collections -  From gloves to statement necklaces/chokers, chain-belts, belts with crystal buckles, brooches and bangles that are exquisitely paired with various types and shapes of beautiful natural crystals and semi precious stones like Agates, Turquoises, Clear crystals, Amerthyst etc... each are so unique and delicate.

Necklaces:

All neck pieces are grey tones and purple, blue silver tones.  Spotted some armor like necklaces/chokers which are certainly a statement pieces.  There are also some necklaces all set with beautiful natural crystals and semi precious stones pendants.  

Chanel Fall 2012 (Part 1) Beauty & The Collection

The runway show is decorated with enormous size shards of crystal, amerthyst and smokey quartz.

The theme is Mineral & Crystals are use in many ways here in Chanel Fall 2012 Ready to Wear runway show... The master & creative director  of Chanel - Mr Karl Lagerfeld applied crystals & various semi precious stone at the hems, sleeves, cuffs, and as buttons, also in shoes, bags and of course the jewelry...This collection has it all, there's the classic Chanel tweed suits, short dresses, flare dress, translucent skirts, long jackets etc... Layering & styled  mainly with slim skinny pants/leggings which are made with different fabrics e.g. lace, tweed,  knits, jeans and others which are cropped just above the ankle to show off the shoes.

Apart from the usual black, dark blues, grey colors, there are some interesting colors here e.g. electric blue.  Honestly, I can't say that I love all the looks...but there are a few sets that I really Can't take my eyes off... the colorful sleeveless dress, grey tweed dresses, electric blue & black set, the metallic,  the purple feather outfits & the finale dress look... are my most favorites and I am sharing with you here...

Let's start in Beauty... It's all about the Brows!!!  Make up and hair do are simple and clean, the only highlight is every models' brows are decorated with stripes of hand woven crystal brows... by Lesage.

The strips of crystal that defined each model's brows were a microcosmic rendition of the show's grand design, which featured a set that looked like the Fortress of Solitude.

Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 RTW (part 1)

Alexander McQueen's Fall 2012 Ready to Wear Collection by Sarah Burton is Magical!!!... 

The combinations of  different  hard & soft fabrics, leather and furs e.g. goat fur, ostrich feather or Mongolian lamb and fur pom poms... Some pieces are crafted and decorated with light weight fabrics  that sew into  countless pieces/layers of anemones, delicate dandelions like flowers finishes the whole collection.  The colors are story board... from pure white to purple, then matures into black and finale red... Bravo to the magnificent craftsmanship of McQueen workshop and brilliant ideas of Sarah Burton.. This collection is another success!

In this collection, There are no suits or clutch bags, but as I am always dying to see are their shoes and fashion accessories...Heelless boots, floral high heels and metal necklace and belts with 3D flower...how creative.

Let's take a look at my most favorite pieces of this collection (part 1), and of course I will never forget to feature those amazing shoes and accessories...plus some backstage snap shots and beauty (in part 2).

I love Black... Black & White Glass Pearls with Twist Chains Necklace (NK017/11)

The easiest color combination and will never go wrong is Black and White... I have designed lots of black and white theme jewelry and this is one of my favorites...

Beads:  Jet Black and White glass pearls - plain, rounded (8 & 10mm)

Cords:  Mixing White & Black thin footage chains,

Findings:   Metal jewelry findings and hardware decorated with rustic metal key and pad lock charms.

I Love Black... Black Lace Agate Necklace (NK022/12)

These Black lace Agate beads are so beautiful that I want to put them together to make a simple necklace... no glittery crystals, no rhinestones are needed, just showcase it's own beautiful nature.

• Beads:  (50X25mm) Black lace Agate, round black glass pearls (8 & 10mm) and (20mm)                              puffed coin shaped glass beads.
• Cords:  Silver Tigers tail and nickel metal chain
• Findings & Finishing:  Nickel metal connectors, lobster clasps and hard wares

This is a simple necklace.  Inspired by men's shirt and  tie... 

Beads:  Black faceted Agate beads & Black glass pearls.

Findings:  Nickel and gunmetal metal findings and black chains.
