Nickel & Gold Statement Necklace & Earrings

If you love chunky jewelry pieces, here's something you might like... using a combination of faceted gold and clear glass beads, round metal beads with nickel and gunmetal chains, slightly glitter but will rock with any outfits...

Beads: 

Puff Roundelle Glass beads in gold,

Clear Cube Glass beads &

Nickel filigree round shaped metal beads

Cords:

Nickel thick Curb chain then

Wrap with Gunmetal footage chains.

Findings:

  Metal findings and hardware e.g. head pins, bead caps, lobster clasp, jump rings etc...

This set has a pair of matching dangling earrings and a chunky short necklace.

Purple Glass Beads Necklace & Earrings

I have been taking a long break from this blog since June... Having sometime to visit dad, do relax & gather myself -  time flies and it's seems 2012 goes by in a blink...  I think it's time to post again. Since I love jewelry and I love designing jewelry...  Sharing is my main purpose to start this blog since 2008 - and I'll keep on posting whenever I have new creations and thoughts to share... I love vintage jewelry, especially Victorian... they are so elegant and timeless... This reminds me of a set of jewelry I crafted.  It's a deep purple faceted glass beads with gunmetal that looked vintage to me.

Beads & Materials: 

Various sizes of faceted  rounded & teardrops Glass beads in deep purple tone, 

&

gunmetal spacer wheels with rhinestones

Cords:

Silver tigers tail & nickel extension chain.

Findings:

  Metal findings and hardware e.g. head pins, bead caps, lobster clasp, jump rings etc...

Purple Ribbon Flowers with faceted Glass Beads Necklace & Earrings (NKERs014)

People who loves crafts must have a lot of "left-overs" materials from previous projects... As I was  digging in my ribbon box, I came across some "left-over" purplish pink ribbon roses -  It's time to create something new... Is it working? May b not for everyone  :)

Here's what I did, mixing those ribbon roses with faceted glass beads in a "feminine" necklace with a pair of matching earrings.

Beads & Materials: 
Various shapes and sizes of faceted Glass beads in purple tones, clear, peridot & light grey

Leaf shaped silver plated metal charms

Cords:
Nickel curb footage chains.

Multi-strands Layered Necklaces & Earrings

I believe even twins has their own differences and  character...

I have a whole bunch of faceted glass beads and I decided to design 2 almost identical necklaces & earrings sets.  One is Clear & Milky white and the other is clear, light grey, milky white and black.  The only difference is the arrangements of beads and color combination...

Materials for both sets:

Beads:  all faceted in different shapes and sizes faceted glass beads in 6,8,10, 12mm

Cords:  I normally string all my beads using tigers tail, a nylon coated wired cord that really can hold up heavy strands of beads and also nickel metal chains.

Findings and Finishing:  Nickel metal findings, Lobster clasp and another 10cm extension.

I Love Black... Black Lace Agate Necklace (NK022/12)

These Black lace Agate beads are so beautiful that I want to put them together to make a simple necklace... no glittery crystals, no rhinestones are needed, just showcase it's own beautiful nature.
