A Story of Rome - Valentino Fall 2015 Couture

Valentino Fall 2015 couture show was 2 months ago but this collection is too beautiful not to be mentioned here.  Always a big fan of Mr Valentino's creations, now the brand evolved tremendously after the recruitment of 2 very talented Italian designers - Maria Grazia Chiuri & Pierpaolo Piccioli as the creative directors of this historical brand.

The company's fall couture show was held on a beautiful evening in Rome, in conjunction with the opening of the house's new flagship in the city's Piazza Mignanelli.

Victoria Beckham Spring 2016 RTW (NYFW)

Can you believe these are outfits the from the collection of Victoria Beckham Spring 2016
Remember her creations at the very beginning of her designing career,  the outfits are sexy, hour glass silhouette mainly short sheaths dresses and evening wear - all fitted and well constructed, styled with stilettos which seems more suitable for business luncheons, cocktail parties and red carpet events.

Her Spring 2016 collection is different... it's carefree, effortless and fresh, paired with flats and open toe platform sandals.  There are a total of 36 sets of outfits which include casual loose fit dresses, midi length skirts and jackets showcased at New York Fashion Week on 13th September, 2015.  I am enlighten to see surfer and floral silk screen prints appeared in her collection too.

I guess her inspiration came from her lifestyle, constant travels and outings with her fabulous family which seems all pieces are easily pack up and go.

Giambattista Valli AW 2015/16 Couture(Part i) Intro & Pant Suits

Giambattista Valli has endless brilliant designing ideas, his work never fail to attract my attention and I've been following his creations for a long time.
I browsed his AW 2015/16 Couture Show collection @ vogue.com with admiration.  This not a small collection, there's altogether 50 sets of outfits with mohair, bows, cute tulle, tassels, lace, silk chiffon, sheers, beading etc... beautiful pant suits, jackets, short & long dresses and breathtaking gowns.  The show starts with several black outfits with baby pink, as the blacks slowly lessen and a variety of colours were introduced - all showcased the amazing craftsmanship of Giambattista Valli.
To me, although this is an AW collection but it feels soft, light, young, romantic, simple, slimming and indeed very intricate.
