Headgears i

I was spring cleaning a couple of days ago, found some old photos of my previous headgear work.
Yes i love to do headgears too... All of them are for special custom orders only.
This headgear was ordered by someone from a chinese temple years back... It's the head piece of " Queen of Heaven" in the Chinese believe.
It should be a glamour Goddess headgear, and i used colorful Swarovski beads and gold base parts to make it look 'expensive'.

 Materials:
Basic wig 1
hair buns 3
metal hair accessories/chopstick with dangling parts  2/3
Swarovski bicone crystals - Red, Green, Gold, Pink and Multi color coated
Gold metal jewelry findings - eye/head pins, stoppers, jump rings etc...
Cords: art wires, tigers tails, ribbons,
others:  black hair (bobby) pins,
hair spray ( extra hard ;p)
and sponge ( to be placed inside headgear - for wearer's comfort)

I remembered i went all over Kuala Lumpur to search for a suitable wig, some hair extensions and hair buns.
I bought some existing hair accessories for the metal piece.
Used red, green yellow, pink and gold Swarovski bicone beads to weave flowers then fix them on the upper part of hair piece with art wires.
I removed those actual beads from the dangling hair accessories then redesigned with more colorful ones.
The wig part is most complicated.  Having to attach the buns onto the wig and they had to be very stable... and art wires are the best cord to tie then conceal inside the wig.
There were also 2 ribbons at the each side of the headgear to fix on the wearer's head.

Another Chinese  headgear " Kuanyin Goddess" was in my  previous post.
