Research for The Mod House Summer09 collection

I am researching for the upcoming The Mod House Summer Collections 09
The theme of the collection is resort mood..
I starting searching for pictures related to this theme and gathering color charts...
Here are some of the materials I'll be using for the collections.. before I design, I usually wanna feel for the theme, so I also search for related music...
Nowadays, summer resort life is not only beach wear, thinking about shopping, evening night outings, dinner parties, going for a drive, sight seeing etc... all those activities of of urban chic women.
Hmm... I found my inspirations and I wanna share here are the research photos.

* took this photo while i was on an airplane flying home to Kota Kinabalu.. love the contrast of sea and island..
* Another photo I took while flying.. summer sunset

* Relaxing summer resort
* won't it be great strolling by the beach during sunset and kiss by the soft tropical breeze.
OK, enough of those imaginations.. here are some beads type that I think will suit the theme.. and which type of fashion jeweleries to go with it.
1. Raw Semi precious beads..
Shell beads, plain huge plastic beads in bundles..

Colorful mixures of glass beads

Also wooden beads, brass, metal coins...
also not forgetting chunky silver jeweleries e.g. huge bangles, earring etc...
Also some wedges, sexy sandals

Some of the styles I love while doing my "homework"
color combinations are black & white, can also some metallic elements, even bronze, copper, antique gold etc...

Not forgetting lovely prints with a mixture of colors

** photos of fashion shows can be found in http://www.style.com/
Creations of designers like Alberta Ferriti, Anna Sui, John Galliano & Marc Jacob & not forgetting Prada shoes.
